Goethe -Wilhelm Meister
TRADUZIONE (di Ron Samuel)
I travel a lot, sometimes too much.
On the way back, my eyes feed on the pictures, the smiles, the colors and the scents that every experience gives me and it’s really a shame that I cannot share these emotions with my beautiful staff. As such, we recently kicked off a unique and exciting project at the studio in Florence and thanks to this adventure, which is only a few days old, we are immersed in a multi-ethnic ambient full of even younger people than ever. Thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Academy of Florence, we have set up a workshop giving an opportunity to interior design students – to work along with me and my staff while we execute a real project. This project is an important commission, and our student guests will be involved in every phase of its development to include all the creative and design phases. It is an interesting educational opportunity for these fantastic students, and a unique opportunity for me and my entire staff – to have an international experience without having to take the plane ….. to Brazil, the United Arab Emerates, Asia, Lebanon, Iran … etc. Shuttling between Florence and Milan, I have had the privilege of looking our future creatives in the face, to be a reference point for these kids who are … building their futures … ‘today’. They are all …. beautiful, …. willing, …. humble and unique. They love their respective countries but they consider Italy the heartbeat and epicenter of art, design and fashion. It would be great if our beautiful country, Italy, can once again emerge as the destination of the “Grand Tour” … it would be fantastic to be able to reclaim the beauty of our land and make it, once again, the Hub of Innovation and Beauty. |
