Ciò che contraddistingue la natura umana è proprio la capacità che ogni individuo ha di esprimersi e di raccontare agli altri il proprio pensiero, le propie esperienze, i propri sentimenti.
Senza il confronto non potremmo neppure renderci conto di esistere; senza l’altro con chi condividere tanta sapienza e tanta felicità?
Senza la storia non potremmo apprendere dai nostri errori, senza l’esperienza del padre come potrebbe il figlio imparare un mestiere?
Senza il Milione di Marco Polo Cristoforo Colombo non avrebbe scoperto l’America e dell’Asia Medievale ora noi non avremmo che scarza conoscenza.
Senza la Guernica gli orrori dei conflitti sarebbero un po’ meno evidenti, senza i tagli di Fontana vi sarebbe ancora la tridimensionalità della tela da indagare. Senza il cinema sapremmo poco delle diverse culture che distinguono gli uomini che compongono il mondo e senza Beethoven non avremmo dedicato un Inno alla Gioia.
Senza internet e social network non potremmo sentire accanto un caro amico lontano, senza i giornali non avremmo informazione. Senze le grandi opere architettoniche non vivremmo città belle e confortevoli. Senza critiche e consigli il nostro pensiero non progredirebbe mai.
Le possibilità e le vie che ogni individuo ha di dire, di esprimersi, di raccontare e di comunicare non possono avere limite, se non nel rispetto altrui.
Ci si può scontrare e ci si può difendere, si può contraddire e non condividere ma mai si può costringere l’altro al silenzio.
Farlo significa essere cordardi, non avere il coraggio di dibattere oppure non avere abbastanza argomenti.
La libertà di espressione non è sempre esistista, siamo noi ad averla conquistata e siamo noi che dobbiamo portala avanti ogni giorno, rispettandola.

What distinguishes human nature is the ability of individuals to express and tell their own thoughts, experiences, feelings to the others.
Without comparisons we can not be aware of our existence, without the others with who we can share our knowledge and happyness?
Without history we can not learn from our mistakes, without the experience of the father how can the son learn to work?
Without the Book “The travels of Marco Polo” Christopher Columbus had not discovered Americas and we would have only a little knowledge of the medieval Asia.
Without the Guernica the horrors of conflicts would be less evident, without Fontana’s cuts, three-dimensionality on the canvas would still be explored.
Without cinemas we would know just a little about different cultures which compose the world and without Beethoven we would not have an Ode to Joy.
Without internet and social networks we would not feel as close a friend who lives abroad, without newspaper we would not have information. Without great architectonic works we can not live in beautiful and comfortable cities.
Without critics and and advices our thought would never develop.
The possibilities and the ways that each individual has to say, express, tell and to communicate can not have any limitation, except in the respect of the others.
We can argue and defend, we can contradict or to not share, but we can never force others to shut up.
Doing that means to be coward, not to have the courage of debating or enough topics.
Freedom of expressing yourself did not exist before, we conquered it and we have to conduct it straight on day by day, respecting it.
