Tanta l’energia che anima il mio Studio in questi giorni e che scalda e rende ancora più vitale lo spirito del mio staff!
Imperterriti ed intascabili ci affaccendiamo, ci precipitiamo ovunque ci sia necessità e tra risate, incontri ed imprevisti ci prepariamo alla Milano Design Week.
Sale la tensione e contemporaneamente cresce l’entusiasmo, desideriamo che ogni particolare risulti curato fin nel dettaglio più piccolo.
Quest’anno abbiamo deciso di fare le cose ancora più in grande: una mostra alla DesignLibrary celebra i miei 25 anni di attività professionale attraverso
oggetti-icona appartenenti al mondo del wellness e realizzati con la collaborazione di prestigiose aziende.
La mostra SPA WORLD by Simone Micheli resterà negli spazi della DesignLibrary fino al 15 Maggio ed il suo opening party in occasione del Fuorisalone è previsto per Giovedì 16 Aprile, ore 19.00.
Mercoledì 15 Aprile, al mio studio di Milano in via Ventura 6, inaugurerò BIG dream in a LITTLE TOWER, un progetto etico che, invece di esaurire la sua essenza durante la settimana milanese del design, prenderà davvero forma: curerò infatti il progetto di recupero della piccola torre neogotica del Parco Romantico all’interno della Fattoria di Maiano, Fiesole – Firenze, trasformandola in un segreto luogo di incontro in cui passato e futuro si abbracciano, accogliendo il visitatore in un’atmosfera fatta di benessere, bellezza e relax.
Sono poi tantissimi gli oggetti originali, i progetti non convenzionali, le nuove collezioni che ho firmato per importanti aziende e che saranno esibiti in anteprima al Salone del Mobile. Oggetti simbolo di una progettazione autentica, non usuale, avanguardistica riempiranno gli stand della Fiera.
Si prospetta una settimana intensa, densa di novità, eventi, incontri, proposte ed interessanti dialoghi!
Sono certo che tutto il nostro impegno verrà ricompensato e che la Milano Design Week sarà per noi un momento di grande successo!

Frenzied Days

These days a great amount of energy is filling my studio and it is livening even more the souls of my staff!
Undismayed and tireless we are always busy; we are rushing everywhere and among laughs, meetings and glitches we are getting prepared to Milan Design Week.
Tension and enthusiasm are growing up, we desire that every detail is looked after till its smallest feature.
This year we decided to organize big events: an exhibition at DesignLibrary celebrates my 25 years of activity through objects that are representative of wellness world, realized with prestigious companies.
“SPA WORLD by Simone Micheli” Exhibition will be inside Design Library till May 15th, and its opening party for Fuorisalone will be on Thursday, April 16th, 7.00pm.
On Wednesday, April 15th, at my Studio in Milan, I will inaugurate “BIG dream in a LITTLE TOWER”, an ethical project that will not end with the design week, but that will obtain its concrete shape: I will upgrade the small neogothic tower inside the Romantic Park belonging to Fattoria di Maiano in Fiesole – Florence. I’ll transform it in a secret meeting place in which the past and the future are in touch and their union receives guests in a special atmosphere made by wellness, beauty and relax.
Moreover I created many original objects, unconventional projects, new furniture collection for important companies and all these product will be exhibited during Salone Del Mobile! These objects that are the symbols of an authentic and unusual way of designing, will fill space inside the Fair.
I’m sure it will be a super intense week, full of news, events, meetings, proposals and interesting conversations.
I know that all the passion we have for our work will be recognised and that Milan Design Week will be a moment of great success for us!
