Il sesso è il luogo in cui andiamo, è uno spazio nel quale entriamo da soli o accompagnati; negli spazi più profondi dell’essere umano, si realizza quell’unione trascendentale e spirituale che sprigiona un’enorme energia, una travolgente passione, una sconfinata bellezza. Questi, congiuntamente ad altri, sono gli ingredienti necessari per la fondazione di molte mie storie progettuali che ricercano un autentico connubio fra l’irrefrenabile forza che scatena l’eros e la comunicazione di questa stupenda vitalità. Mi trovo in perfetto accordo intellettuale con Bernad Tschumi che una volta scrisse: “Architecture is the ultimate erotic act”.

Eros e design

Sex is in a place where we go into another world; it is a comfortable place where we stay alone or with someone else. This transcendental and spiritual union comes from the deepest spaces of human being, gives off positive energy and creates an overwhelming  passion and an endless beauty.
These are the necessary ingredients for my stories. The basic purpose of all my architectural projects is to design places where the extraordinary energy coming from eros, meets the communication of this wonderful vitality.
I perfectly agree with the architect Bernad Tschumi who has written:  “Architecture is the ultimate erotic act.”
