Conto alla rovescia per l’uscita al cinema di “Sconnessi”, l’ultimo film di Christian Marazziti di cui ho avuto il piacere di curare la scenografia. Una nuova esperienza che ho colto con entusiasmo! Immaginare di plasmare ogni spazio in modo che si fonda completamente con la trama del film e i suoi attori è stato meraviglioso! La trama del film è molto attuale e affronta una tematica che da sempre è stata al centro della mia riflessione: in un momento della vita in cui ci sentiamo fortemente dipendenti dall’essere sempre connessi alla rete virtuale, a volte, si ha bisogno di ritornare alle origini per riscoprire i legami autentici e più profondi con le persone e il mondo che ci circonda.

In questa direzione mi muovo da anni, fondendo costantemente la comunicazione 2.0, il mondo dei social, di internet, con quella più concreta dei rapporti e degli scambi personali con tutto ciò che è attorno a noi. Da un lato, Internet, la connessione al mondo virtuale e ai social, hanno cambiato la nostra vita stravolgendola positivamente sotto molti punti di vista: ci rendono più vicini quando siamo a chilometri e chilometri di distanza, ci permettono di condividere le nostre passioni ed esperienze con tutti in modo immediato, spontaneo, diretto; facilitano lo sviluppo delle reti professionali e personali, incrementando anche il profitto del proprio business. Dall’altro, ciò che veramente mi stimola nel mio fare progettuale è il desiderio di interazione con il prossimo, l’idea di trovare una crescita personale tramite il confronto diretto con le altre persone, di condividere i momenti di gioia e le mie passioni più grandi. A volte è bello sentirsi sempre vicino alle persone anche quando sono lontano, ad esempio durante i miei innumerevoli viaggi. Altre volte, può rivelarsi interessante alzare il viso dallo schermo e iniziare una lunga chiacchierata con qualcuno appena incrociato, ridere in compagnia delle persone più care. Ritrovare l’autenticità della vita e dei gesti comuni, per poi poterla condividere con tutto il resto.

Countdown to the release of “Sconnessi”, the latest Christian Marazziti film of which I had the pleasure of taking care of the set design. A new experience that I seized with enthusiasm! Imagine to shape every space so that it completely merges with the plot of the film and its actors were wonderful! The plot of the film is very current and addresses a theme that has always been at the center of my reflection: in a moment of life in which we feel strongly dependent on being always connected to the virtual network, sometimes, we need to return at the origins to rediscover the authentic and deeper ties with people and the world around us.

In this direction I have been moving for years: trying to merge the communication 2.0, the world of social medias, of the internet, with the real and personal relationships and exchanges with everything that surrounds us. The Internet, the connection to the virtual world and to social networks, have changed our lives under many positive aspects: they make us feel closer to each others when we are miles and miles apart, allowing us to share our passions and experiences with everyone in a very immediate, spontaneous and direct way; they are able to increase our professional and personal networks, also increasing the profit of our own business. Beside that, what really stimulates me is the desire for interaction with others, the idea of finding personal growth through direct engagement with other people, sharing moments of joy and my greatest passions. On one side, it is amazing to feel close and connected to people even when I am away, for example during my countless travels. At other times, it may be interesting to lift your face off the screen and start a long chat with someone you have just met, laugh in the company of your loved ones. Rediscover the authenticity of life and common things, and then be able to share it with everything else is the perfect combination!
