Questa settimana è stata completata la realizzazione di 3dddì (intelligente, qualificante, eccellente, iconico progetto di food franchising: prima apertura a Firenze, poi Tirana, Milano, Roma, New York, Londra, Istanbul, Parigi, Nuova Delhi, Madrid), o come amo chiamarlo, “una gioielleria per la degustazione di meraviglie”.

È un progetto nel quale gli odori, i sapori ed i colori della tradizione culinaria italiana si fondono e si amalgamano  con le fluide e distintive forme appartenenti alla mia espressività.

La progettazione di questo “contenitore” é stata estremamente interessante! Per Simone Micheli progettare un modulo pluridimensionale per un franchising come questo, un master plan, un’architettura o un oggetto é la medesima cosa!

Disegnare una caffettiera significa per me creare uno contenitore, dotato di una pelle, capace di ospitare acqua, caffè, microbi…vita! Alla stessa maniera creare un progetto architettonico significa ospitare persone e vedere il compiersi dei loro desideri e delle loro interazioni: cambiano le regole del gioco, quali la scala, le regole normative, le dimensioni intellettuali e contenutistiche, ma il processo progettuale é sempre il medesimo: lavorare per qualificare la vita.

Ogni opera richiede il medesimo sforzo, la medesima concentrazione e nasce dal medesimo luogo, un luogo nel quale le idee viaggiano libere e non hanno bisogno di diventare materia per affermare la loro esistenza.

The project – The same mental energy

This week 3dddì has been completed (a quality, clever, excellent and iconic food franchise project, first opening in Florence, then in Tirana, Milan, Rome, New York, London, Istanbul, Paris, New Delhi and Madrid), or the way I like to call it: “a jewelry store for the tasting of wonders”. 

In this project the scents, flavours and colours of the Italian culinary tradition blend together with the fluid and distinctive forms of my expressiveness.

The design of this “environment” has been extremely interesting, but to me, Simone Micheli, designing a multidimensional module for a franchise, an architectural piece, a masterplan or a furniture piece is the exact same thing!

To me, the designing of a coffee maker equals the creation of an environment with a skin that hosts water, coffee, microbes … life, within it!

In the same way, creating an architectural project means hosting people and encouraging their desires and interactions: the rules of the game change, such as the scale, the normative rules, the intellectual and content dimensions, but the design process stays always the same : a work to improve the quality of life.

Each work requires the same effort, the same concentration and comes from the same place, a place where ideas run free and do not need to become matter in order to exist.
