Un “luogo racchiuso”, proprio come il significato che l’ Haveli vuole comunicare. 

Si rende manifesto così un lusso che ha origini antiche e che entra con forza innovatrice e straordinario recupero di ambienti involucrati ed involucranti, nel nostro quotidiano. 

Questo luogo ospitale, denso di contenuti, nasce da un’ ancestrale condivisione di pensieri con la mia committente Gabriela Strazzeri che per la sua carica emotiva ed intellettuale amo paragonare a Peggy Guggenheim.

E’ qui che le forme e i materiali rendono reale un sogno che dura da millenni: l’armonia tra il nostro io e l’accoglienza dell’altro, in uno scambio continuo di energia e cultura.

Un vero gioiello, atteaverso un osmotico rapporto tra presente, passato e futuro, si trasforma in eccellenza dell’ospitalità. 

L’obiettivo di mantenere intatto il calore di una tradizione antica, l’eleganza dei toni, la linearità degli ambienti interni ed esterni, i desiderati sbalzi umorali, si esprime in un flusso continuo che esalta il valore storico-artistico racchiuso in queste mura.

Ho voluto esaltare la funzione dell’Haveli per far si che chiunque vi entri si senta avvolto da luci diffuse e seducenti, crei intrecci che permettono al pensiero di giocare con le linee sui muri, tessa fantasie che riverberano sui soffitti. 

Quando ho deciso di intraprendere questo straordinario viaggio di recupero architettonico ho avuto ben chiaro sin dall’inizio che il vero lusso sarebbe scaturito dal rispetto dell’anima di questo luogo, esaltandone la vocazione artistica. 

Il risultato è un diadema nel cuore di Mandawa.

An “enclosed place”, just like the meaning that the Haveli wants to convey.

Luxury is thus revealed, and its ancient origins merge with its innovative strength and therefore enters our everyday life.

The creation of this very meaningful place of hospitality takes shape from a common mindset with Gabriela Strazzeri who I like to compare a Peggy Guggenheim for emotional and intellectual strength.

It is here that shapes and materials fulfil an ancient dream: the harmony of our self and the acceptance of the other, in a continuous exchange of energy and culture.

A true diamond is transformed into hospitality excellence through an osmotic relationship between present, past and future. 

The goal is to preserve the warmth of this ancient tradition with the elegance of its tones, the linearity of the internal and external environments and mood swings. This is expressed in a continuous flow that enhances the historical-artistic value contained in these walls.

I wanted to highlight the function of the Haveli to make sure that anyone who enters it is captured by the diffused and seductive lights that enable the thought to wonder into new joyful realms.

When I decided to undertake this extraordinary journey of architectural recovery, I knew that true luxury would come from respecting the soul of this place and enhancing its artistic vocation.

The result is a wonderful piece of art in the heart of Mandawa.
