Mi sveglio in un albergo di Seoul, ho un incontro per definire gli ultimi dettagli della collaborazione che darà vita ad una delle più grandi spa in Korea. 

Da quando mi sono immerso in questo progetto, ho sempre avuto come obiettivo quello di far incontrare tradizione e futuro. 

“Il Futuro”, quello spinto, pieno e inebriante che in Asia si respira anche ad ore più estreme di quelle in cui tutto il resto del mondo innesca le sue attività quotidiane.

Direzione Busan in Korea per ultimare i dettagli della mostra che svelerò a breve.

Atterro in Cina con un’agenda fittissima di appuntamenti. 

Anche qui la mia anima ha lo stesso tipo di coinvolgimento e determinazione: cogliere nel profondo ogni vibrazione creativa, elaborare e far affiorare memorie e visioni, dare vita ad un quotidiano che sovverta il significato stesso del suo termine diventando uno spazio senza costrizioni di tempo.

E’ un’agenda in cui i giorni non contano la mia. 

Potrei parlarvi di giorni o mesi…

In questa successione di luoghi ed orari pensate ancora che il futuro sia davanti a noi? 

Alle 00:00 ho avuto la risposta che inevitabilmente trovi quando smetti di essere preda della ricerca: l’esistenza futuristica e futuribile è quella che concretizziamo quando accettiamo che l’opera raccolga tutte le differenti culture, non oggi, non domani ma sempre. 

E’ un insegnamento che da secoli tocchiamo con mano perché non esiste luogo assente da contaminazione vitale di culture, pelli, sapori, colori, idee. 

Se il retaggio culturale è ciò che ci ha plasmati, oggi è quello che mi insegna come vivere gli spazi creando opere che toccano il cuore degli umani visitatori.

I wake up in a hotel in Seoul and I have a meeting to define the final details of the collaboration that will create one of the largest spas in Korea. 

Since I immersed myself in this project, I have always had the goal of bringing tradition and future together. 

“The Future”, daring, full and intoxicating that in Asia you can breathe even at the most extreme hours of those in which the rest of the world triggers its daily activities.

I land in China with a busy schedule. Here, my soul has the same type of involvement and determination: to grasp in depth all creative vibrations, to elaborate and bring out memories and visions, to give life to a daily life that subverts the meaning of its term, becoming a space without time constraints.

It is an agenda where days don’t count mine.

In this succession of places and times do you still think that the future is ahead of us?

I had the answer that you inevitably find when you stop being prey of the research: the futuristic and *futurible* existence is what we materialize when we accept that the work collects all the different cultures, not today, not tomorrow, but always. 

It is a teaching that we have touched for centuries because there is no place absent from vital contamination of cultures, skins, flavors, colors, ideas.

If the cultural heritage is what has shaped us, today it is what teaches me how to live spaces by creating works that touch the hearts of human visitors.
