«Ieri non sono riuscita ad arrivare a Milano» racconta Roberta durante un’intervista. «Tutti i treni avevano grande ritardo e la maggior parte dei clienti ha annullato gli appuntamenti che aveva con me. Non aveva più senso andare. Il coronavirus sta causando parecchi danni all’economia del nostro paese e sono convinta che, purtroppo, continuerà a crearne. È anche la mancanza di direttive univoche a creare caos. Muoversi per lavoro, ad esempio, è diventato difficile. Simone ha dovuto cancellare il suo viaggio ad Amman perché la Giordania ha bloccato l’ingresso a chiunque sia stato in Italia nelle ultime due settimane, come l’Arabia Saudita, l’Iraq, il Kuwait, Israele, Libano, Bahrein, El Salvador, Mauritius, Turkmenistan, Capo Verde e le Seychelles. 

Io, invece, sarei dovuta partire per l’India tra qualche giorno ma annullerò il viaggio, non vorrei dover passare quattordici giorni in quarantena a Nuova Delhi. Altri paesi come l’India, Taiwan, Romania ed Eritrea hanno deciso di mettere in quarantena chi arriva dall’Italia. Molte compagnie aree bloccano i voli.

È un momento difficile per il nostro paese, sia per l’aumento dei contagi sia perché l’economia sta soffrendo molto l’isolamento. È corretto prendere le dovute precauzioni per tutelare la salute di tutti i cittadini del mondo ma dobbiamo stare attenti a non dare troppo potere alla paura. Usiamo l’intelligenza contro il virus: lo smart working ed il virtuale rappresentano le nuove dimensioni del fare. Ed utilizziamo la positività contro la psicosi: siamo un popolo resistente, l’abbiamo già dimostrato molte volte».
