A Cavallino Treporti, nella città metropolitana di Venezia, sul lungomare Dante Alighieri, prenderà nuova forma l’hotel Sotoriva. Una vera e propria opera d’arte che si riflette sul mare e che combina la mia identità visiva con la straordinarietà di un luogo storico. Costruire nuove architetture significa definire dei campi per qualificare la vita di tutti gli esseri umani. Generare esperienze totalizzanti, complete, abili nell’offrire all’ospite le risposte necessarie a soddisfare i cangianti desideri che la contemporaneità manifesta.

Progettare per me è rendere reale, concreto, il processo di qualificazione della vita, comprenderne i meccanismi e metterli in pratica, realizzando un connubio efficace tra ciò che è bello e ciò che è necessario affinché ogni oggetto svolga al meglio la funzione per cui è stato immaginato.

Il concetto di evoluzione, nel suo significato proprio, racchiude proprio questo processo di trasformazione tra ciò che era e ciò che è. Un processo di perfezionamento graduale ma continuo, un susseguirsi di cambiamenti, che tende verso il bene, il bello, il nuovo, pensato per portare l’essere umano a vivere meglio ed in armonia con lo spazio attorno. 

Evoluzione significa equilibrio, sintesi tra avanguardia tecnologica e stati di pensiero, interiorizzazione delle novità che abbandona l’irruenza e diventa sorprendentemente vita di tutti i giorni.

Così l’hotel Sotoriva diventa un campo segnico reale, simbolo di evoluzione, che fonde insieme il passato – la tradizione – il presente -l’esistenza – e frammenti di futuro che si palesano nella quotidianità in modo da dare vita a un esperienza memorabile, un centro catalizzatore di energia che affascina l’intera area in cui prende vita.

In Cavallino Treporti, in the metropolitan city of Venice, on the Dante Alighieri seafront, the Sotoriva hotel will take on a new form. A true work of art that reflects on the sea and combines my visual identity with the extraordinary nature of a historic place. Building new architecture means defining fields to qualify the lives of all human beings. To generate all-embracing, complete experiences, capable of offering the guest the necessary answers to satisfy the changing desires that contemporary life manifests.

For me, designing means making the process of qualifying life real, concrete, understanding its mechanisms and putting them into practice, creating an effective combination of what is beautiful and what is necessary so that each object can best perform the function for which it was imagined.

The concept of evolution, in its very meaning, encompasses precisely this process of transformation between what was and what is. A gradual but continuous process of improvement, a succession of changes, tending towards the good, the beautiful, the new, designed to lead human beings to live better and in harmony with the space around them. 

Evolution means balance, synthesis between technological avant-garde and states of thought, internalisation of novelty that abandons impetuousness and surprisingly becomes everyday life.

Thus the Sotoriva hotel becomes a real sign field, a symbol of evolution, blending together the past – tradition – the present – existence – and fragments of the future that become evident in everyday life in such a way as to create a memorable experience, a catalyst of energy that fascinates the entire area in which it comes to life.
