The Ugly Duckling becomes a Swan è un progetto etico ed intelligente che racconta un nuovo modo di immaginare l’architettura, ridefinisce il concetto di lusso contemporaneo in accordo con l’evoluzione dei desideri dell’uomo e dà vita ad uno spazio abitativo fluido.  

Prenderà la forma di un’esibizione virtuale in occasione del FuoriSalone di Milano, dal 5 al 10 settembre 2021, presso lo spazio mostra Hotel Regeneration di OfficinaVentura14 nel Ventura Milano District. Il visitatore avrà la possibilità di entrare in anteprima nell’appartamento firmato da Simone Micheli in Versilia, un meraviglioso luogo a pochi passi dal mare e, contemporaneamente, di accedere ad uno show-room permanente in cui l’eccellenza dei prodotti realizzati e forniti dalle aziende porta essere toccata con mano. Un omaggio concreto che l’architetto Micheli e le prestigiose aziende partner offrono al territorio, con l’intento di generare un volano comunicativo denso di contenuti interessanti e di estese dimensioni. 

The Ugly Duckling becomes a Swan è un innovativo appartamento, fronte-mare, che ha preso forma lungo la storica passeggiata di Viareggio, realizzato attraverso modalità progettuali smart che metteranno in luce la rilevanza dell’industria italiana, combinando insieme l’esigenza di visibilità, la creazione di concept densi di significato e l’abilità nel dare intenso valore ai territori. 

In occasione del FuoriSalone 2021 il visitatore sarà immerso all’interno di una mostra virtuale, anteprima esclusiva del progetto, che porterà la mente all’interno del lussuoso service apartment con il fine di regalare un assaggio delle caratteristiche e dei tratti che caratterizzeranno l’opera. Libero di attraversare i diversi spazi e di curiosare tra gli arredi il visitatore sarà parte integrante del progetto e veicolo indispensabile per l’espressione della sua essenza. Attraverso la riproduzione dell’opera in realtà aumentata l’uomo potrà vivere l’esperienza del reale soggiornare, benefico e rilassante, all’interno del prezioso appartamento. 

The Ugly Duckling becomes a Swan nasce dalla principale volontà di oltrepassare i confini della realtà nota e di assottigliare il confine tra virtuale e reale in modo che l’immaginato possa farsi tangibile, abitabile, esperibile.
Nel corso del 2021 l’opera si è concretizzata configurandosi come un luogo funzionale, manifesto tridimensionale ed espressivo del modulo abitativo contemporaneo volto all’accoglienza ed all’ospitalità dell’uomo.  Uno spazio smart, raffinato ed interconnesso che intende soddisfare le mutate esigenze del viaggiatore contemporaneo, offrendo risposte personalizzate e calibrate ai bisogni.

The Ugly Duckling becomes a Swan is an ethical and intelligent project that narrates a new way of imagining architecture, redefining the concept of contemporary luxury in accordance with the evolution of human desires and giving life to a fluid living space.  

It will take the form of a virtual exhibition during the FuoriSalone in Milan, from 5 to 10 September 2021, at the Hotel Regenerationexhibition space of OfficinaVentura14 in the Ventura Milano District. Visitors will have the opportunity to enter a preview of Simone Micheli’s apartment in Versilia, a wonderful place just a few steps from the sea, and at the same time to access a permanent showroom where the excellence of the products made and supplied by the companies can be touched. A concrete tribute that architect Micheli and the prestigious partner companies offer to the territory, with the intention of generating a communication flywheel full of interesting and extensive contents. 

The Ugly Duckling becomes a Swan is an innovative flat, facing the sea, that has taken shape along the historic promenade of Viareggio, created through smart design methods that will highlight the relevance of Italian industry, combining the need for visibility, the creation of concepts dense with meaning and the ability to give intense value to the territories. 

On FuoriSalone 2021, visitors will be immersed in a virtual exhibition, an exclusive preview of the project, which will take the mind inside the luxurious service apartment in order to give a taste of the characteristics and features that will characterize the work. Free to walk through the different spaces and browse among the furnishings, the visitor will be an integral part of the project and an indispensable vehicle for the expression of its essence. Through the reproduction of the work in augmented reality, people will be able to experience a real stay, beneficial and relaxing, inside the precious flat. 

The Ugly Duckling Becomes a Swan stems from the main desire to cross the boundaries of known reality and to blur the line between virtual and real so that the imagined can become tangible, habitable, and experienceable.

During 2021, the work took shape as a functional place, a three-dimensional and expressive manifestation of the contemporary living module aimed at welcoming and accommodating people.  A smart, refined and interconnected space that intends to meet the changing needs of the contemporary traveller, offering personalized and calibrated responses to needs.
