L’arte è un’emozione di cui ogni uomo è parte. Questo è il fil rouge di Al Murabbaa arts festival, un contenitore creativo di performance, mostre, workshop e conferenze che si terrà ad Ajman, capitale dell’omonimo emirato, a pochi chilometri da Dubai, in occasione di Expo 2020. 

Tra gli eventi che rendono il festival uno spazio espressivo, dinamico e ricco di idee, ci sarà anche Precious gems by me for you, visitabile dal 28 ottobre al 6 novembre 2021, l’esibizione a cui ho dato vita per l’occasione, grazie al contributo di prestigiose aziende di caratura internazionale. 

Ogni opera in mostra è un viaggio all’interno della mia interiorità. Opere che come gemme sbocciano dalle ambientazioni ieratiche quanto essenziali, che raccontano abilmente il significato di un percorso che fa dell’unicità il motore del suo progredire. L’alternarsi di toni accesi e soavi contribuisce a rendere lo spazio un unicum in cui liberare la mente e scoprire i miei riferimenti contenutistici ed espressivi. Le opere in mostra esprimono rigore, linearità, meraviglia e costituiscono il racconto tridimensionale del senso del mio fare progettuale in modo che questo si mixi, attraverso volute dissonanze, con la cultura e le tradizioni del luogo. Una voce fuori dal coro, altra, per manifestare la necessità di qualificazione, di alterazione del presente, di superamento dello stereotipo, con il fine di costruire il mondo come un posto migliore, più sostenibile, più adatto al valore umano. 

Precious gems by me for you invita a riflettere sul contemporaneo, sulla corrispondenza di forme che riduce la complessità concettuale in semplicità d’approccio. Parte dal design ma il pensiero evolve fino ad abbracciare l’architettura, la città, le figurazioni del costruito umano. Grazie alla combinazione di intenti con il Ministero del turismo di Ajman, un proficuo contatto tra le nostre due culture ha preso forma e dato vita a rigenerazione e crescita.

Precious gems by me for you

Art is an emotion of which humans are part. This is the fil rouge of Al Murabbaa arts festival, a creative container of performances, exhibitions, workshops and conferences that will be held in Ajman, capital of the emirate of the same name, a few kilometers from Dubai, on the occasion of Expo 2020. 

Among the events that make the festival an expressive, dynamic space, full of ideas, there will also be Precious gems by me for you, open from 28 October to 6 November 2021, the exhibition I have created thanks to the contribution of prestigious international companies. 

Each work on display is a journey into my inner self. Works that, like gems, bloom from hieratic and essential settings, skillfully telling the meaning of a path that makes uniqueness the driving force of its progress. The alternation of bright and soft tones contributes to making the space a unicum in which to free the mind and discover my references in content and expression. The works express rigour, linearity and wonder, and constitute a three-dimensional tale of the sense of my design, in a way that it mixes, through deliberate dissonance, with the culture and traditions of the place. A voice outside the chorus, another one, to express the need for qualification, for altering the present, for overcoming the stereotype, with the aim of building the world as a better place, more sustainable, more suited to human value. 

Precious gems by me for you invites us to reflect on the contemporary, on the correspondence of forms that reduces conceptual complexity to simplicity of approach. It starts with design but the thought evolves to embrace architecture, the city, the figurations of the human built environment. Thanks to the combination of intentions with the Ajman Ministry of Tourism, a fruitful contact between our two cultures has taken shape and given rise to regeneration and growth.
