Insegnare deriva dal latino insignare e significa incidere segni, nella mente. Lasciare tracce consistenti nelle persone con il fine di fornire loro le chiavi per comprendere la realtà, gli strumenti per capirla, affrontarla, plasmarla. L’insegnamento è un arte antica indispensabile per offrire all’altro l’esempio, specifico sulla base del settore di appartenenza, di come la vita quotidiana possa divenire oggetto di conoscenza e quindi trasformarsi in soluzione inaspettata al problema, in un varco nella consuetudine per esplorare mondi ancora non conosciuti. Aprire la mente, elevare il pensiero, toccare mete prima considerate irraggiungibili. 

L’insegnamento è una componente importante del comunicare, azione che contraddistingue l’uomo e gli permette di rapportarsi con l’altro. Più profonda è la comunicazione più stretto e intenso è il rapporto che ciascuno è in grado di creare. Io, Roberta e tutto il nostro staff diamo da anni un immenso valore  alla comunicazione e, insieme a questa, all’insegnare. Costituisce una delle nostre attività principali ed è il medium con cui intendiamo trasferire il nostro know how, le competenze, l’entusiasmo agli altri, affinché tutti possano avere gli strumenti per dare vita a opere in grado di, a loro volta, divenire segno indelebile nella memoria di altre persone. Oggetti belli, funzionali, responsabili che prendono forma da parole condensate, figurazioni di materia, pensieri tattili.

Ci confrontiamo con studenti di ogni parte del mondo e di ogni età, parlando di design e architettura, grafica e visual communication, teniamo lecture, corsi, conferenze e workshop organizzati da noi, in partnership con università e istituti, o a cui ci invitano, senza sosta, perché è uno dei modi attraverso cui ci auguriamo di contribuire alla realizzazione di un mondo migliore.

Teaching means leaving a mark

Teaching derives from the Latin insignare and means to engrave marks in the mind. Leaving consistent traces in people with the aim of providing them with the keys to understanding reality, the tools to face and shape it. Teaching is an ancient art that is indispensable for offering others an example, specific to each field, of how everyday life can become an object of knowledge and thus become an unexpected solution to a problem, an opening in habit to explore worlds not yet known. Opening the mind, elevating thinking, touching on goals previously considered unattainable. 

Teaching is an important component of communication, an action that distinguishes humans and enables them to relate to others. The deeper the communication is , the closer and more intense is the relationship that every person is able to create. Roberta, myself and all our staff have for years placed immense value on communication and, along with it, on teaching. It is one of our main activities and it is the medium with which we intend to transfer our know-how, skills and enthusiasm to others, so that everyone can have the tools to create works that in turn can become an indelible mark in the memory of others. Beautiful, functional, responsible objects that take shape from condensed words, material figurations, tactile thoughts.

We meet students from all over the world and of all ages, talking about design and architecture, graphics and visual communication, we hold lectures, courses, conferences and workshops organized by us, in partnership with universities and institutes, or to which they invite us, non-stop, because it is one of the ways through which we hope to contribute to the creation of a better world.
